My transformational Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga enhances your strength, flexibility, and balance and offers moderate aerobic conditioning as well. My classes are not focused on ‘poseur poses’, rather, the focus is on movement and breath work that achieves the greatest transformation of your body and mind.
By incorporating breath work (pranayama), chakra cleansing and meditation as part of every class, and with regular practice, the healing qualities provide beneficial effects in numerous health conditions including, but not limited to, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, asthma, infertility, pregnancy, insomnia, arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, and chronic back pain.
Arguably the greatest immediate benefit is on coping and stress management, where you can use the techniques I teach to calm your mind and body.
With my unique style of mindfulness incorporated into the classes, some of the benefits include significant mind-body stress reduction and relaxation.
It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience and provides an excellent start to the practice. I aim for a balance of discovery, mindfulness, challenging physical practice and inspiring philosophy.

Transformational Integral Hatha and Vinyas Yoga
I am formally registered at the 200-hour level Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga with Yoga Alliance International and I was taught by Irana Ji An Fourouli, a senior Yoga & Meditation teacher trainer certified by Yoga Alliance International & Yoga Alliance Professionals.
As a professional Yoga teacher, my own integrated practice is designed to achieve integral well-being. I have developed a yogic methodology of yoga and lifestyle practices that will strengthen your immune system and physical body, develop greater perception, focus, and awareness, balance and move towards a state of greater ease and wellbeing which will reflect in all aspects of your life. A focus of asana and pranayama on the Chakra System further enhances the transformational and balancing qualities of my work.
My teacher training deepened my understanding of the ancient teachings of Yoga science. The training taught me to empower my own life, awaken to new perspectives with a strong integral foundation in traditional yoga from Patanjali to Krishnamacharya, combined with science and modern developments, transforming and advancing my yoga practice. My approach to my classes is transformational, therapeutic, anatomical and bioenergetic.
I teach the practice of asana, pranayama, meditation applied to Hatha Yoga and how to move with the breath in Vinyasa flow and balance with Yin Yoga. Breath work, combined with organic movement and bioenergetic alignment is a critical component to the transformational and healing qualities of my yoga. In addition, I work to awaken your senses with my classes using meditation, mantra, mudras, pranayama, joint clearing, and Yoga Nidra.
Hatha and Vinyasa yoga share many of the same poses. In their own ways, they each emphasise controlled, conscious breathing to help you relax and improve your fitness. The biggest difference between them is the pace at which you change from one pose to the next. When combined, I am able to deliver the best of both practices to help you improve your overall wellbeing.
