Course of four beginners classes - every Wednesday evening through November - 6.30pm (Yoga for Men), 8pm (yoga for couples / all)

Beginners yoga classes are designed to help men and women of all ages to enjoy the benefits of improving flexibility, mobility and posture, whilst reducing tension and stress in the body and mind.

Home Practice

A feature of the course is the home practice video instruction you receive between classes.

To help you make faster progress, I will send you a weekly YouTube video demonstrating three daily yoga exercises to do lasting approximately 15 minutes.

Hips Hamstrings Back

The course of classes offer you a practical introduction into yoga, specifically targeting parts of the body that men and women struggle with the most:

* Hips *

* Hamstrings *

* Back *

* Knees *

* Tension in Neck and Shoulders *

 

By focusing on releasing tension through breath and movement - it's a practice that calms your nervous system and your mind.

 

Targeted mobility and flexibility training is suitable for all ages (oldest is 76), body shape, type, size and weight. 

We're in this together

Whether a man or woman, we are all body conscious and we’re embarrassed about starting something new and may find difficult at first. We're all feeling pretty bad about how we've neglected our body. That's normal. I offer a safe place for you to break-through the tension, resistance, discomfort and pain in your body.

And don't forget, we're all in the same boat, starting at a similar point, sharing the experience and friendship that regular practice will bring.

Learn to Breathe, Reduce Stress & Improve Your Sleep 

There are many benefits you will get from regular yoga practice.

 

I am trained to teach transformational integral Hatha, Vinyasa, Pranayama and Meditation. I am also a certified breath coach for stress and anxiety.

 

The foundation of my teaching is pranayama (yoga breathing). I use this throughout the class to help you learn to manage and control your nervous system. This integral yoga breathing enables your body to expand, contract and stretch more effectively.

Every class starts with yoga breathing, followed by a range of stretches and ends with a Savasana to complete the practice.

You'll love it, I promise you.

One final point - commitment!  Turning up occasionally to a class or stop-starting, will have no meaningful benefit to you. I am therefore looking for men and women who are serious about improving their health and wellbeing and will commit to a course of four classes in order to give yoga a really good go!

Having joined Yoga for Men with Pauli and
